My name is Karlee, and I am a wellness coach and certified yoga teacher based in Toronto, Canada. My passion lies in guiding individuals to live in harmony with themselves and fostering a sense of connection both on and off the yoga mat. Teaching yoga is a calling that fuels my drive to make a positive impact on people's lives. I am dedicated to cultivating authentic and sustainable wellness practices that inspire you to return to your mat consistently, nurturing your body, mind, and soul.

About Me

After a lifetime devoted to competitive dancing, I had become a habitual and meticulous perfectionist. The toll it took on me was evident in my struggles with depression, anxiety, poor self-image, and a plethora of unhealthy patterns. It was an exhausting existence.


Then, about seven years ago, I was introduced to yoga. Through this newfound passion, I discovered the power of being gentle with myself. Instead of striving to conform to a specific mold, I was encouraged to let go and listen to my body. It was an unconventional and refreshing approach. Yet, I found it challenging to tune into my inner wisdom instead of viewing myself from an external perspective. Yoga gave me the opportunity to observe without judgment and allowed me to experience emotions without labeling them as good or bad.


I soon realized that being on my yoga mat made me feel most authentic and purposeful. It was where I truly felt like myself. Beyond the physical asanas, I began to recognize the transformative potential that yoga held for my entire life. I awakened to this beautiful gift that is available to all humans, at any time.


In 2023, I achieved a long-held aspiration: traveling to Bali and completing my yoga teacher training with Zuna Yoga. This intensive and demanding journey turned out to be the most fulfilling experience of my life. Since then, my primary objective has been simple: to share, share, share. My mind has expanded to embrace the limitless possibilities of yoga beyond my previous comprehension. It has sparked a deep curiosity about the intricate interplay of science, spirituality, and history within yoga.


I embarked on a quest to find my unique contribution in the world of yoga, seeking to blend the ancient wisdom of the yoga sutras with the modern Western world in a way that resonated with my authenticity.


In both my personal and professional practice, I follow a traditional approach that combines hatha and vinyasa yoga. I embrace the holistic philosophy of the eight limbs of yoga, incorporating asana, breathwork, and meditation. My aim is to create a judgment-free space where all individuals, regardless of their experience level, can turn inward and align with their own sacred path to self-discovery. Through this practice, we transcend the physical realm and delve into the deeper significance behind each posture. My focus lies in empowering practitioners to understand the "why" behind their practice, enabling them to enter any studio or session with confidence and trust in their own breath and intuition.


I extend an open invitation to individuals from all walks of life to engage in this transformative practice. Whether you are a beginner, a child, a workplace team, someone who has experienced trauma, an emergency care worker, or someone with physical ailments or disabilities, you are welcome just as you are. In this sacred space, you are perfect and loved. Remember, it is called a "practice" for a reason.
